Is an Off-Market Sale a Good Sale?

Given the prevailing market conditions, a common question I receive is, "Can I sell my home off-market?" The straightforward response is yes, but opting for this option may not be in your best interest , and here's why. Every Real Estate Agent will tell you they have Buyers, because we all do! The crucial point here is that we are most likely engaging with the same pool of Buyers. How did I purchase my first home?

At the tender age of 15, I had a crystal-clear vision of what I wanted to do and what I wanted to be: to own a house and become a Real Estate Agent, and I did not back down! My journey into both my career and the world of property began while I was still in high school. Fast forward to now, and I have bought and sold three properties in the last four years! Where did this idea of wanting to own property come from? This may seem funny, but it all stemmed from watching "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" and investigating how much properties cost in America. This then led to hours of scrolling through multi-million dollar listings on Zillow.com, and I discovered my obsession with becoming a real estate agent. As a young teenager, did I wish I could be selling the $50 million penthouse overlooking Central Park? Yes, I did... who wouldn't? But after completing a school-based traineeship in real estate, I was finally brought back to reality and the unglamorous side of this industry. However, I was not backing down from my aspiration. I can remember that as soon as I got my first full-time role within the industry and ...
